[CRE Loaded] New installation - problem at Step 4

Hi,

I'm installing the software myself although I have limited knowledge of this kind of thing. I seem to have reached a problem.

My site uses CRE Loaded and is all up-to-date with the latest software updates etc

I've got up to step 4 of the installation but when I add the code snippet to the www/includes/application_top.php my homepage then displays an error page stating that Zend Optimizer is NOT installed.

My hosts have confirmed that Zend Optimizer IS installed for my site so can anyone tell me who or what is going wrong please?

Does Zend Optimizer need to be configured in a certain way?

If I carry on to step 5 and further will this error message go?

If you see the error message that Zend Optimizer/Zend Guard Loader is not installed then is really not installed (not loaded into PHP). There maybe a couple of reasons for this but usually host support is wrong. If you are using custom php.ini file then you will need to add Zend Optimizer installation code there as well (please contact host support for details).
