[Zen Cart] magic_seo_url.php file is corrupted

We've just moved my client to new hosting and it says the includes/magic_seo_url.php file is corrupted. There 2 backed up files as well and none work. Someone installed this for him and we do not have the originals. Can we get a copy of just that one file?

This happens if you have uploaded files to your server or hosting account in ASCII mode instead of BINARY mode. Make sure you are using BINARY mode.

I found out that my client did have his original files and I uploaded the file again - (both times in binary mode). Having the new file changed the error message to :

PHP Fatal error: Unable to read 53313 bytes
in /home8/righteo8/public_html/includes/magic_seo_url.php on line 0I assumed in the end that Zen Optimizer wasn't on the host and they said to make sure the appropriate line was in the php.ini file and it is.
I will be calling them again this morning but I'm a bit concerned. Someone had originally changed that file and the msu_tweak.ini file as well - as evidenced by 3 versions left on his original server. Should I just upload the whole thing all over again? I'll talk to the host first but this makes no sense.

This error message means same as before- you have uploaded files to your server or hosting account in ASCII mode instead of BINARY mode. Make sure you are using BINARY mode.

I have uploaded using my professional ftp program with automatic detection, specifically choosing binary, and using cpanel's file manager uploader. No dice.

Contact your client and ask for original installation package. It includes installation manual as well as installation files.

Yes, and I have read it all. All we did here was change hosts. The former hosting was supposed to be zen cart optimized and whatever they did on that server was very different and unnecessary. I actually zipped the files originally and uploaded them. That's when I got that corrupted message for that file. So uploading the original file got rid of that message.
I gather you have no suggestions.

Yes. No other suggestions. You will have to trust me. I recommend you to use FileZilla, or Total Commader, if you are running Windows, otherwise FireFTP (Firefox add-on).

I went to the extent of downloading filezilla and choosing binary as my upload method and reuploaded that file - no change.
I am a web designer with 11 years experience - and professional software that works. I can now say that there is no question there's something else going on.
My client did purchase the magic seo urls from you directly and he has said that he will pay you to fix it but there should be no need of that if it's a straight forward issue.

It is not necessary to pay for a fix. Error you are getting is the most common problem with binary PHP files (you can try to Google it to prove me).
All you need is to upload that file in BINARY mode.
