Some Broken Urls Not Going to 404 Page
Some Broken Urls Not Going to 404 Page
I've been checking my google urls and it has picked up some old broken ones and they are being redirected to my home page instead of 404 not found.
http://www.hebejewellery.co.uk/index.ph ... ing=newest
http://www.hebejewellery.co.uk/index.ph ... ing=newest
I tried using the google webmaster url removal tool but of course they do not return 404 and I am slightly worried they might even be hurting the site now.
There's hundreds of them too.
Is there anyway to alter the magic seo url .htaccess file to make these urls return 404 - they all begin with index.php?option=com_search so I was thinking some sort of wildcard query might do it?
Any heros help?

Re: Some Broken Urls Not Going to 404 Page
These URLs are not included in Zen Cart and therefore are not covered by MSU. Unfortunately, Zen Cart process such URIs with HTTP 200 found. The only way how to remove it from SERPs will be using custom Rewrite Rules.
Re: Some Broken Urls Not Going to 404 Page
Can you set me up some custom rewrite rules to take care of these urls - I'd like to send them to the 404 page
I will send payment
Thanks
