[phpBB] Magic SEO and a development copy of my site

I've copied phpBB2 from my production site to my dev site, which is the same as the production site, except the URL is dev.backupcentral.com instead of http://www.backupcentral.com. I'm doing this to perform a test upgrade to phpBB2 to the latest version (I'm one rev out from the latest version of phpbb 2), and it would be nice if I could test the magic seo stuff after the upgrade. Except that the magic SEO stuff doesn't seem to be working. The site displays properly if I select the right URL:

http://dev.backupcentral.com/phpBB2/two ... otector-6/

But if you select any topics, I get the old viewtopic syntax:

http://dev.backupcentral.com/phpBB2/two ... p?t=106823

Is there something I need to edit to get this to work?
