[Open Cart] Old urls still working

Hello,
i just installed magic seo url, and disable the default Opencart SEO url solution.
But the old url seems to be still working, and causing duplicate content error
eg:

http://www.shopiemonte.com/cantina/vini_dolci/ (old url)
http://www.shopiemonte.com/cantina-59/vini-dolci-86/ (new url)

shouldn't all the old urls be redirected (301) to the new urls ???
This seems like a big issue to me!
