[CRE Loaded] Site suddenly not working

Postby corradomatt » Mon Aug 17, 2009 11:28 am

I have been using Magic Seo Urls for a couple of years now and suddenly I have been getting a problem with our website. It give the following error message.....

Code: Select all

ction") $this->$key=$kv['value']; } } }//end class ?>
Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cookie - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/w/e/s/westixsupply/html/includes/version.php:18) in /home/content/w/e/s/westixsupply/html/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 101

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/content/w/e/s/westixsupply/html/includes/version.php:18) in /home/content/w/e/s/westixsupply/html/includes/functions/sessions.php on line 101

Fatal error: Corrupted encoded data detected in /home/content/w/e/s/westixsupply/html/includes/magic_seo_url.php on line 0

I'm not 100% sure if the problem is related to Magic SEO but nothing has really changed in the past couple of days and suddenly there is a problem. We are hosting with GoDaddy on a shared plan. Maybe that could be the problem.

/home/content/w/e/s/westixsupply/html/includes/magic_seo_url.php file is corrupted. Contact your host support for backup or re-upload this file.

What would cause this? We haven't made any recent changes to our site. Did we get hacked?

I don't understand how that could be. I have installed a fresh copy of the file from the original and from backups. Is there a way to get a fresh copy of this file from you for install?

You don't need any other files. Please re-upload the file and make sure you are using BINARY mode or contact your host support.

Updated! - So, we figured out the problem which was related to a few different files being corrupt, including the "magic_seo_url.php" file. But the error was in no way related to magic seo. It's a long story, but I figured it would be helpful to others to know that this software didn't crash my site.

Thanks for your quick responses ~J~!
