[CRE Loaded] 404 Errors

Postby d4funky1 » Wed Aug 06, 2008 5:48 am

Hi,

Having checked google today I have noticed that the following url:

http://www.fancydressretail.co.uk/Fancy ... icles.html

is pointing to a 404 error and should be redirecting to:

http://www.fancydressretail.co.uk/artic ... hp?tPath=1

Could you possibly look at this for me?

Thanks
D4

This is related to your old Rewrite solution (CRE SEO URLs) you were using previously. It can be solved by renaming articles.php file to something else and changing all occurrences of articles.php in .htaccess file to new name.

Hi,

Checking our previous correspondance you mentioned:

2) Incorrectly configured mod_negation is causing famous "no input file specified" error message, solved by renaming following files:

account.php
includes/languages/english/account.php
articles.php
includes/languages/english/articles.php
specials.php
includes/languages/english/specials.php
reviews.php
includes/languages/english/reviews.php
links.php
includes/languages/english/links.php

to:

accountmsu.php
includes/languages/english/accountmsu.php
articlesmsu.php
includes/languages/english/articlesmsu.php
specialsmsu.php
includes/languages/english/specialsmsu.php
reviewsmsu.php
includes/languages/english/reviewsmsu.php
linksmsu.php
includes/languages/english/linksmsu.php

and altering includes/filenames.php

So it would appear that the articles.php file has already been renamed???

Can you offer an alternative suggestion.

Many Thanks
D4

Yes you are right. It is something with old Rewrite Rules, not sure what exactly.
