OK I was about to cry when I tried it and it didn't work... Until I realized I'd changed the home page to home.html.... changed it back and it worked like a charm. Kudos to you.!!!

OK server says this feature is already enabled. I deleted all the text in the .htaccess file to test, renamed the home page to dummy.html and put in the .htaccess "DirectoryIndex dummy.html" It worked. So, there's some other setting in the .htaccess that is causing issues. I'd like to past...
