I noticed that there is a number at the end of each URL now (for example, http://www.rayfield.net/products-29). What is that number and why is it there? Is it necessary? If not, is there a way to get rid of those numbers?

Numbers are IDs of category, products etc. and are used for recovering and executing original URI in the background.
