I read 5/6 threads here about this problem and another one on zc forum (of early 2008) but I didn't understand how to solve.

Problem: if I'm surfing a category, when I reach a product which is linked and its master category is another one the breadcrumb reflects the master category path and most important, clicking on next product I begin surfing the master category, so leaving the previous category where I was surfing originally.

I like the 'just one url' feature to avoid duplication, but I'd like the breadcrumbs to reflect where I was when I clicked to see the products details and most important the next product button cannot bring me to another category (the master of the linked product).

In msu_tweak.ini I have use_master_category = true and tried to put it to false (didn't recreate htaccess since it's written it's not necessary), but the issue was still in place.

I've a dev site totally in sync with the production one where at the moment MSU is not working and there the issue is not present. So there's no doubt it's MSU related.

What can I do?

You are just experiencing what was already discussed before (breadcrumb and no duplicate content are features which fight with yourself - breadcrumb can not work old way if no duplicate needs to work correctly).

Just 2 days after your reply I had a surgery and many days in hospital, so didn't saw your reply. Now I'm back, dunno if the forced rest brigthened me, but now I understand

PS: I bought first copy of MSU about in 2008, there were update? If yes, may I have them? Is there an info page about upgrade?
