I was just wondering how this software (and changing URLs) will affect our current Google PageRank? We currently have a PageRank of 5.

Also, if we purchased this software, how would we go about ensuring the changeover is as seamless as possible without affecting our current PageRank?

GTPR of your home page will not be changed, because (in general) depends on external back links. PR of other pages will be little bit higher due to no duplicates and better linking to these pages.
