We are trying to remove the ID numbers from the URLS, as currently your solution rewrites them to http://www.domain.co.uk/costumes-273/

We want them to be http://www.domain.co.uk/costumes/ or is there no benefit, just looks tidier.

How can we achieve this?

This is not possible with current MSU version.

Do you know when it will be added as I thought this done that as a few of the other solutions do, would be great to have it, surely is it not just a case of modifying the rewrite rules in htaccess?

This Feature is planned to be added in 3rd series. On the other hand there are still lot of advantages using IDs and most of our customers prefer existing Features such as no requirement to change the CRE Loaded code or on-the-fly URIs transformation (including statically added links) instead of URIs with no ID.
