Hi,

I've just successfully installed your software on my cre loaded store but want to query whether the www/cache/fancy-data/ folder needs to be left writeable by all or whether it can be changed back to its original permission settings??

Is it a security risk to have it left writeable by all?

Apologies if thats a daft question but I'm not at all knowledgeable in this type of thing!

Cache directory does not have to be writable by all, just by PHP scripts (on most servers it requires set permissions to 666 - writable by all).

As long as you do not have any vulnerable script on your server, it is fine.
